"Beloved, while I was making every effort to write to you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints" (Jude 1:3 NASB)
On this site you will find a commentary that was written by me and another student while enrolled in our second year at the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver. The assignment was to produce a verse by verse commentary on the Epistle of Jude and to use no less than 5 sources for each verse. The assignment was designed to aid the student in learning how to do proper research while gaining a better understanding of the book. We were proud of what we came up with at the time and decided that it would be fun to share it with any that would want to use it. We strove to be true to the author's intended purpose and provide exegetical insight into the text.
On the sidebar to the left you will find the commentary organized by the paragraphs found in most English Bibles. I have also included a list of Works Cited for future study and cross-referencing.
